How the Bestbroker entities collect, use, store and protect your personal data, and the rights you have over it.
Last updated: October 2026
1. Who controls your data
The data controller is the Bestbroker entity you contract with: Bestbroker Ltd. (Cyprus), regulated by CySEC, or Bestbroker Ltd. (Vanuatu), licensed by the VFSC. If you only browse the website without an account, Bestbroker Ltd. (Cyprus) acts as controller for website data.
2. What we collect
- Identity and contact details you give us when you register: name, email address, country of residence.
- Verification records required by anti-money-laundering law once you apply for a live account.
- Account activity: logins, devices, settings, applications and support requests.
- Trading records on live and demo accounts, which we must keep under financial-services regulation.
- Technical data from your browser, such as IP address and pages visited, used for security and to run the website.
3. Why we use it
- To open and run your account and provide the services in your client agreement.
- To meet legal obligations: identity verification, anti-money-laundering checks, transaction reporting and record keeping.
- To secure the platform, including fraud prevention and login protection.
- To tell you about product launches you have registered interest in. You can opt out of marketing at any time.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal data only where the service or the law requires it: with regulators such as CySEC and the VFSC when they ask, with our banking and execution counterparties to process your transactions, with identity-verification and IT providers under contract, and between the two Bestbroker entities where your service requires it. We do not sell personal data.
5. Where it is stored and for how long
Client records are stored on servers operated for the entity that serves you. Where data moves outside your home jurisdiction, we rely on recognised safeguards such as contractual data-protection clauses.
We keep client records for the period financial-services regulation requires, typically five to seven years after the relationship ends, then delete or anonymise them.
6. Your rights
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct data that is wrong or incomplete.
- Ask us to delete data we no longer need to keep by law.
- Object to or restrict certain processing, including all marketing.
- Receive a copy of data you gave us in a portable format.
- Complain to the competent data-protection supervisory authority. Contact us for the applicable authority and complaint procedure for the entity handling your data.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the channels on our Contact page. We respond within the timeframes the applicable law sets.
7. Cookies
The website uses cookies that are necessary for it to work, such as keeping you signed in to the client portal. We do not run third-party advertising cookies on this website.
8. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our processing or the law changes. The date at the top of this page shows the latest revision. For significant changes affecting account holders, we notify you directly.
